Road Upgrade and construction – All works carried out in line with strict environmental control measures associated with operating within a national park. MWP involved in relocating wildlife habitat, such as ants’ nests. MWP carried out all site clearance, demolition of existing structures on old A9, Earthworks including borrow pits to support site and hauling in materials from local quarries, all Drainage, Communication Ducting, Landscaping including placement of stone on verges and central reservations throughout the entire 8km dual carriageway, 10km of side roads and 8km of cycle / footpaths all to highway specification. MWP carried out all works on site up to underside of blacktop except for concrete structures.
