Martyn Ward Plant Limited was established in 1994, initially to carry out the remediation contract at Ravenscraig, the former British Steel site near Motherwell.
The success of this initial 3 year contract, proved to be a solid foundation from which the company could build on.

The company has been involved in contracts which provide many benefits to the public, such as the clean drinking water to thousands of Scottish Water customers, electrical energy generated through wind and hydro power, social benefits through housing and recreation facilities in the form of sports facilities and spectator stadiums. Protection to business and home owners through flood prevention schemes, transport links through the road network, assisting quarries to provide the quality stone for the construction industry, economical and social improvements by reclamation of Brownfield sites to Greenfield and development sites, education of our children through landscaping works below and surrounding our schools.
